SUNCATCHER was started in the dorms of Florida State University by Jacob Da Costa (Guitar) & Aidan Suarez (Drums). Later on meeting Emma Claire (Bass) & Sarah McGibeny (Guitar), the four have begun to make a name for themselves among the Florida college crowd. Their sound blends Indie Pop with occasional Heavy Hitting Alternative instrumentals inspired by bands like the Backseat Lovers, Momma, Flipturn, The Marias, Valley & Spacey Jane.

SUNCATCHER focuses on giving 100% at every show so the audience can have a memorable experience. With all four members fronting the band in their own ways the audience is always left with the feeling of a connection or engagement. This intentional energy put behind each show has paved the way for them to play a collection of sold out shows across Florida, as well as open for bands like Almost Monday, Edgehill, Kids That Fly, Lunar Vacation, and Easy Honey. They even kickstarted their own concert series titled "Let's Get Lei'd" having multiple successful runs throughout the Florida college circuit, with a new annual festival in their own college town, Tallahassee.

With their recent releases “Nosedive” & “Rosey”, they are currently working on a debut album to be ready for release and rollout by the new year.
